Dear CO-LABS members and friends,

On behalf of our Board of Directors during this week of Thanksgiving I wish to say Thank You! for your engagement, ideas and donations of time and/or money during this wonderful year of growth for CO-LABS. We have toured more than 25 research labs, spotlighted brilliant discoveries at the 10th Annual Governor's Awards for High-Impact Research event, arranged numerous small group conversations with elected officials, economic development leaders, and a wide spectrum of technologists and scientists - and expanded our presence to highlight how scientific research has benefits across society.

With your input we've expanded the network of people who understand and support the value of taxpayer-funded research as a fundamental wellspring of innovation - resulting in solutions to complex problems, the creation of companies, the education of next generation of discoverers and "simply" expanding our understanding of the world we wake up to every day.

Championing the importance of Colorado's innovation ecosystem  - both as a crucial part of our state's economy as well as a profound national asset - is a compelling responsibility. I am grateful for your help as we nurture the relationships, projects and partnerships within our state.

Have a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday!

Sincerely,
Dan Powers
