High Precision Devices, Inc.
HPD is your source for research cryostats, kinematic optical mounting solutions, probes and sample holders for use in low temperature science, air samplers for atmospheric and climate research, a voltage standard measurement device, NIST traceable quantitative MRI phantoms and the Heliodon sun emulator for education, architecture and building design.
In December of 1993, Bill Hollander established High Precision Devices, Inc. in Boulder, Colorado. The company began with just two employees in a 2,000 square foot space. Among the first projects was the design and fabrication of a cryogenic test probe for NIST. Twenty three years and over 2,000 projects later, HPD is now planning a relocation of our 30+ employees and an extensive assortment of manufacturing and engineering equipment to a 16,000+ sq. ft. facility in Twin Lakes Technology Park near Gunbarrel. Look for this move to occur in the summer of 2017, and check back regularly for details. The company’s growth continues and we look forward to serving new and existing customers for many years to come.
